For a one-time $27 investment you receive a lifetime Peninsula Co-op membership. This is one of the best investments you can make!
As a member-owner of Peninsula Co-op you immediately begin sharing in the profits of the company.
Every time you use your Co-op member number your purchases are recorded. We total your purchases when you shop at our
- Food Centre
- purchase petroleum
- shop at our convenience centres
- and even when you make Home Heating oil purchases.
Based on Peninsula Co-op’s profits, a percentage of your purchases are added to your share account. 62.5% of this amount is paid out to you by cheque each year at rebate time as your member rebate. The remainder is reinvested for 5 years in Peninsula Co-op to help maintain services and grow our business.
Becoming a member is easy.
There are three easy ways to become a member:
- Apply online (online application form)
- Print out the membership application form (PDF), complete it and send it to us with your payment of $27. Our mailing address is: Peninsula Co-op, #1-2132 Keating Cross Road, Saanichton BC, V8M 2A6.
- Next time you are at one of our locations you can fill a form out and pay for it with your transaction. You will get your membership number on the spot and be able to start accumulating your rebate immediately.
Many business owners find a Peninsula Co-op membership an excellent way of reducing the cost of doing business. The same one-time investment of $27 gets you a lifetime business membership. Small or large businesses may be able to take advantage of our Commercial Services Card offerings. You get all the benefits of membership, plus additional opportunities to save. Please, contact our Commercial Petroleum Manager, Jake Petterson, at 250-652-3212 for more information.
Not For-Profit Organization Membership
Several community organizations find a Peninsula Co-op membership an excellent and easy way to fundraise. A representative from your organization takes out a membership in the name of the organization for a one-time investment of $27. The membership number is then shared with the members of your organization and they are encouraged to use it whenever they make purchases from Peninsula Co-op or participating Save-On Gas. At the end of the year, your organization will earn a rebate, based on the dollar amount of purchases your members have made throughout the year.

Please print and complete the relevant form and attach all requested documentation to apply for the withdrawal or transfer of membership. The Co-op Board of Directors will review applications at their next scheduled meeting.
Please complete the Application for Transfer of Equity if you wish to transfer a membership to another person.
