May was a great month for Peninsula Co-op in our community!
Cooper was out practicing his baseball skills with the kids at Central Saanich Little League and had a great time at the Children and Apple Pie Family Fun Fair in Cobble Hill. He also attended the Touch-a-Truck event on the Saanich Peninsula which was a great fundraiser for Neuroblastoma Research and local kids.
We had our own game night and Mascot Madness with the Victoria Shamrocks. Our team of volunteers handed out a lot of thunderstix and noise makers! Stay tuned for the 2016 Shamrocks Player Cards, they will be available soon!
We also supported Community Living Victoria with $5,000, The Cowichan Valley Performing Arts Association with $2,000, Operation Trackshoes with $4,500, the Peninsula Celebrations Society with $5,000, KidSport Greater Victoria with $15,000 and the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation with $15,000.
