July 1: Canada Day Celebrations 8:30am – 4pm along the Gorge Waterway, including pancake breakfast, games, music, market and family fun!
July 14: Ford & Friends Show and Shine 9am – 3pm at Heritage Acres, 7321 Lochside Dr, Saanichton.
July 26 – July 28: Victoria HarbourCats Kids Free Weekend at Wilsons Group Stadium.
August 2: Filberg Festival at the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox.
August 21 – Sept 1: Victoria Fringe Festival, held in multiple venues around the city.
August 31 – Sept 2: The Annual Saanich Fair, all weekend at the Saanich Fairgrounds.
Donations at a glace:
– Peninsula Co-op is proudly supporting the Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan revitalization campaign with a $100,000 donation pledge.
– The month of June saw over $58,000 donation to charity groups and non-profit organizations, as well as sponsorship of 16 different community events.
Comox Valley Hospital Match
The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation is seeking support to help fund specific surgical equipment and cleaning devices that have been prioritized for the hospital.
At CVH, there are nearly 8,000 surgeries a year provided through five operating rooms. Local surgical services include orthopedics, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, obstetrics/gynecological, ENT, and specialty dental.
