Beware of fraudulent calls

Although the incident appears to be singular, the safety and security of our members is of the utmost importance to us. One of your fellow members received a call from someone pretending to call from Peninsula Co-op and was trying to verify their Social Insurance Number.

Peninsula Co-op will never make unsolicited phone calls to members to obtain personal information. We only respond to member requests or inquiries about their membership.

If you receive a call like this, or are ever concerned about the validity of the caller, please disconnect the call and phone us directly.
